Cathal Tighe is excited to be joining Queen’s International School as a Business and History teacher. He holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Limerick, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Teaching from the University of Sunderland.
For the past six years, Cathal has been teaching in Qatar, gaining valuable experience across international and British curriculum schools. His approach to teaching is shaped by his passion for creating engaging and inclusive classroom environments that support every pupil’s progress.
Beyond the classroom, Cathal enjoys travelling, socialising with friends, and staying active through sports—particularly Gaelic Football and Hurling.
