Dutch Language Programme

At Queen’s International School, we are proud to offer an integrated Dutch language programme for native Dutch-speaking students, following the official Dutch national curriculum.

Integrated Dutch Lessons

Our Dutch-speaking students receive three hours of Dutch language education per week, integrated into their regular school timetable.
Our programme is closely aligned with the international curriculum at Queen’s. By following the same thematic units as the English-speaking classes, students develop their Dutch language skills while exploring familiar topics and building on knowledge gained in their international lessons.
This approach creates a meaningful connection between both learning environments, supporting students in developing their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in Dutch while maintaining a strong connection to the Dutch education system.

Dutch After-School Programme

In addition to our integrated lessons, we offer extracurricular Dutch language classes.

These classes are open to both native and non-native Dutch speakers, including students who do not attend Queen’s International School.
Our after-school programme provides an engaging and supportive environment in which students can develop their Dutch language skills, build confidence and strengthen their connection with the Dutch language and culture.
