Key Stage 3 and 4:
Ages 11-16 years

At Queen’s Qatar, a leading British international school and one of the best British schools in Qatar, our secondary school programme is designed to inspire, challenge, and empower learners. We equip our students with the academic knowledge, personal development, and real-world skills needed to succeed in higher education and beyond. 

Our secondary school in Qatar focuses on four key pillars: academic excellence, personal growth, global awareness, and future readiness. We support students in “Discovering Their Greatness” and building strong foundations for lifelong success. 

The secondary school curriculum for Years 7–9 (Key Stage 3) includes a wide range of subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Art, Drama, Music, Computing, Languages, Physical Education, and PSHE. Students also study Qatar History, Arabic (native and non-native), and either French or Spanish. Our inclusion of the full MOEHE programme for Arabic and Islamic Studies reflects our commitment to delivering a well-rounded education in a respected British international school setting.

Qatar History, Arabic language and Islamic Studies

All Secondary School students at Queen’s Qatar study Qatar History (Years 7-9), while Arabic students (Years 7-12) receive instruction in Arabic language and Islamic Studies, according to Qatar’s MOEHE requirements.

PSHE and Career Guidance
Alongside regular classes, pupils receive Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE), study skills, life skills, as well as career advice during daily form time. This comprehensive framework prepares young people for future academic, personal and professional success.
IGCSEs

At the end of Year 11, students will sit for International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations.
