Discover Your
Greatness

Key Stage 3 and 4:
Ages 11-16 years

Queen’s provides a learning experience that focuses on four key priorities, enabling our students to leave school equipped with the skills both academic and personal and knowledge to thrive in their chosen study and subsequent career pathway. We encourage our students to dream big and support them in “Discover Your Greatness”.

At Queen’s, we nurture every child’s talent and strength, instil a love of learning, and work together to build a thriving global community.

This means that learners of all abilities and backgrounds make the best possible progress, achieve the best possible academic outcomes, and enjoy the challenges of learning at the highest level.

Our secondary programme in Years 7–9 (KS3) offers students the opportunity to study a broad range of subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Art, Drama, Music, Computing, Languages, Physical Education, and PSHE. The curriculum ensures that students acquire core knowledge in key subjects and develop essential skills that will be beneficial throughout their lives. All secondary students from Years 7–9 will continue to study Qatar History and Arabic (either as a native or non-native language) in addition to French or Spanish. We offer the full MOEHE programme for Arabic language and Islamic Studies.

The curriculum also supports students’ spiritual, moral, cultural, mental, and physical development. In addition to timetabled classes, pupils will receive personal, social, and health education (PSHE), study skills, life skills, and career advice during daily lesson time. This provides a comprehensive and standardised framework for educating young people, preparing them for future academic, personal, and professional success.

Welcome to

Sixth Form at
queen's qatar

Key Stage 5:
Ages 16 - 18 years

Our Sixth Form Launches September 2026

We proudly open the doors to our Sixth Form, marking an exciting new milestone for students in Qatar. Designed to inspire ambition and independence, our Sixth Form provides the perfect environment for young adults to thrive academically, personally, and socially.

Following the English National Curriculum, these final two years Years 12 and 13  are when students refine their passions and prepare for success in AS and A Level examinations, paving the way for entry to leading universities worldwide.

At the heart of our Sixth Form experience is personalised guidance. Our dedicated Careers Advisor works closely with every student to explore university pathways and career aspirations, helping them select the ideal combination of three to four subjects that best reflect their strengths and goals.

With expert teachers, tailored academic support, and inspiring enrichment opportunities, our Sixth Form empowers students to take the next step with confidence and ‘Discover their Greatness’.

Our Sixth Form Curriculum

The A Level pathway is an internationally respected curriculum that qualifies our students to enter top higher education institutions worldwide.

Our highly experienced Secondary teachers provide students with continuous, fully personalised support in every aspect of their learning, so they become independent, well-rounded thinkers with broad-ranging skill sets and the freedom to focus on their key strengths and interests.

The benefits of AS and A Level studies are significant. The British methodology is well-known worldwide as an academic pathway that helps students secure admissions to first-class universities and higher education institutions in the UK, Qatar, and abroad.

At Queen’s, AS and A Levels are offered through UK-accredited examination boards, and students typically focus on three or four specific subject disciplines, each explored in depth as part of a rigorous, broad curricular offer.

Learning in the British system is engaging, practical, and sparks students’ interests and curiosity. It prepares them for life beyond education, making them confident and articulate speakers who can take on the challenges of tomorrow’s world with ease.

A Holistic Approach to Learning

Sixth Form studies at Queen’s will prepare our students for long-term success, as we recognise that top higher education institutions increasingly look at a young adult’s holistic education, not simply examination results. Therefore, as a school, we ensure a variety of co-curricular, enrichment, and leadership opportunities. Students will form part of the prestigious leadership team, with roles including Head Boy and Head Girl, House Captains, Sports Leaders, and Senior Prefects.

At Queen’s, all students have the opportunity to showcase their skills and passions in several enrichment programmes designed to develop independence and global awareness. Programmes on offer will include the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, Model United Nations, Annual School Productions, Academic Societies, and Community Service and Volunteering, among others.

University & Higher Education Preparation

In preparation for Sixth Form, students will meet regularly with their form tutors, the Secondary School leadership, and our dedicated Careers Advisor, to explore and help define their university and career path choices.

Based on their preferences, each student will also receive individual support and guidance to help them with the vital task of university applications. It will include support with writing personal statements and with the overall university entrance application process.
