Key Stage 3 and 4: Ages 11-16 years
The introduction of the prestigious IGCSE programme at Queen’s marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing a world-class education. Designed to offer a rigorous and internationally recognised curriculum, the IGCSE programme equips students with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic skills needed to excel in higher education and beyond. With a focus on both breadth and depth of knowledge, the IGCSE allows students to explore a wide range of subjects while preparing them for future success in an increasingly globalised world.
Queen’s Qatar offers students a broad range of IGCSE subjects in Years 10 and 11 (Key Stage 4). All students must study core subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, a language, and Physical Education (non-examined). In addition, students will choose up to three optional subjects.
When making choices, we guide our students to consider personal interests, strengths, and future goals. The subjects they choose now will shape their academic path, so seeking guidance from teachers, family, and trusted advisors is essential.
