Key Stage 5: Ages 16-18 years
At Queen’s Qatar, Sixth Form students (Years 12 and 13) will have the flexibility to customise their educational journey based on their personal interests and goals. A wide variety of subject choices will be available. In Year 12, students choose three or four subjects to study at AS Level, and most students will continue to study three subjects for their A Levels in Year 13.
In line with Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) requirements in Year 12 all Arab passport holders must study Arabic at AS Level, and all Muslim students must study Islamic Studies.
At the end of Year 13, students take A Levels from the Cambridge and Edexcel International Examination boards. This curriculum opens doors to prestigious universities worldwide, including those in Qatar, the Middle East, Asia, the USA, and the UK.
