Which year groups are available at Queen’s Qatar?
Queen’s College Qatar will open in 1st September 2024 for year groups FS1-year 9.

What is the curriculum at Queen’s Qatar?

At Queen’s College we follow the National Curriculum for England adapted for an international setting. Find out more about our curriculum

Are there any entrance exams or assessments required for admission?
There are no entrance examinations but there will be a short assessment, which your child will be invited into school for. There is no preparation required for this assessment.
Are there any sibling discounts or financial aid options available?
We do not accept the Qatari Educational Vouchers.
How does the school accommodate students with special needs or learning differences?
At Queen’s College, we are a fully inclusive school. Our in-house specialists will work alongside families to ensure that all children have access to equitable opportunities.
What is the school’s policy on class sizes and student-to-teacher ratios?
Class sizes will be capped at 20 in FS1-year 2 and 24 from year 3 upwards. Student to teacher ratios are appropriate for the age and stage of the students.

How will I be informed about the status of my child’s application?
A member of the admissions team will be in regular contact with you to keep you updated regarding your child’s application.
What are the next steps in the enrolment process if my child is accepted?

If your is offered a place and you accept it, the admissions team will inform you of the next steps. The step-by-step guide can also be found here.

What is offer outside of the academic curriculum?
At Queen’s College, we pride ourselves on our offering outside of the academic curriculum, this is called The Experience. Students will have access to our extensive co-curricular activities programme ran by our dedicated teaching staff. There is also a paid-for suite of activities which will run after the school day has ended using our world class facilities.
Where are Queen’s Qatar teachers employed from?
All of our teachers are employed from the United Kingdom or similar and are well qualified to teach the National Curriculum for England.
